French Debate - Drinking Game

All right, Nation - in response to huge public demand, I'll be posting the new and improved "drinking game" rules for the French (today) and English (tomorrow) debates. Since I know we'll all be glued to the television tonight at 6 o'clock Mountain, I'm posting these now so you can print them and have them sitting next to the remote when the festivities start. Of course, both of the debates WILL be "live-blogged" here... so, I'll see you all at 6. ;)

EVERY TIME...
Jack Layton uses Harper's name in the same sentence as George W. Bush
- do a shot of peppermint schnapps

EVERY TIME...
Stephen Harper answers a "what WOULD you do" question with a "here's what we've already done" answer
- do a shot of Jagermeister

EVERY TIME...
Elizabeth May suggests that Harper doesn't "care" about the environment
- do a shot of tequila

EVERY TIME...
Stephane Dion mentions the Clarity Act
- drink a glass of cognac

EVERY TIME...
Gilles Duceppe mentions the Quebecois nation
- do a shot of rye

BONUS: EVERY TIME...
Jack Layton uses the phrase "working families", or something analogous to it
- do a shot of scotch

NOTE: ONLY use the "bonus" if you're an experienced drinker... inexperienced drinkers, or people under 300 pounds, won't last through the first half-hour with the bonus in play...

With you on the "Bonus". We would all be calling 911 by the first 20 minutes.

I think Layton is congenitally incapable of saying the word "families" without precending it with "working".

On second thought, truncate my last comment to the first six words of the sentence. That's more accurate.

I've been wondering how to get through a few of my bottles of scotch.

Good thing I had a Seniors debate this morning rather than tomorrow morning
